On this page you will find an excerpt of my time as a member of and leader in the Michigan Education Association. This organization allowed me to grow in a world of business that I didn't know I was interested in until I joined. I had the opportunity here to grow my communication skills by networking with members not only across the state, but across the country. My love for organization and spreadsheets only grew during my time involved with the Union. I learned so many valuable skills during my time in this organization and would be thrilled to explain them more in-depth if you contact me!

On March 18th, 2017 the Ferris State Student Michigan Education Association (SMEA) attended a Professional Development day at the MEA Headquarters in Lansing. We had the opportunity to speak with and take a photo with Michigan Representative Adam Zemke.

Below is a photograph of the 2017 Ferris chapter of the Student Michigan Education Association members. I joined SMEA in the spring of 2017 and was voted secretary at the end of the spring semester. After acting as secretary for the fall semester, I was voted to be the president for the spring 2018 semester. I am excited to have taken on this role and have loved watching our club double in size.
